LISBON – In County Municipal Court, Duallen D. Stanford, 29, state Route 170, Negley, was fined $1,850, credited with 24 days served in jail and sentenced to an additional 56 days in jail for littering from a vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, three counts of drug abuse instruments, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and aggravated menacing for threatening to pound Seth Berresford into the ground on May 25. Some charges were for causing a disturbance in the booking cell at the county jail on March 30, including using his sweatshirt to cover up the cameras.

A March 14 pretrial was set for Lyrick T. Stewart, 21, Austintown, charged with possession of criminal tools and soliciting prostitution for allegedly arranging for a sexual act with a person, who she drove to his home in East Palestine a second time on Sunday after an earlier transaction regarding sex in exchange for money.

A March 29 pretrial was set for Travis Gottschalk, 32, Padgett Road, East Palestine, charged with engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools for allegedly arranging for a sexual act with an agent from the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force on Saturday in exchange for $50.

A March 29 pretrial was set for Joseph Glenn Risi, 46, Poland, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly arranging for a sexual act with an agent from the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force on Sunday in exchange for $80.

A March 24 pretrial was set for Brandon K. M. Thomas, 36, Salem Grange Road, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.

Travis Dominic Lawson, 35, Monaca, Pa., was fined $975, had his license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 20 hours community service for OVI first offense and a traffic control device violation.

Justin Matthew Martin, 39, Riffle Road, New Waterford, was fined $650, credited with nine days in jail, sentenced to an additional 11 days in jail and required 50 hours community service for aggravated menacing, assault and disorderly conduct. One charge was for fighting and another was for threatening Kenneth Kleinknecht with a baseball bat and return with a firearm to kill everyone in July. The other charge was for striking Jesse Dunlevy in the mouth and nose on Jan. 23.

Michael E. Wellman, 68, Freedom Avenue, Alliance, was sentenced to 45 days in jail, fined $500 and required 20 hours community service for public indecency for exposing himself to a child while driving on July 26.

Shelly L. Joiner, 35, New Philadelphia, was sentenced to 23 days in jail, fined $1,125 and had her license suspended for two years for OVI second offense and failure to stop after an accident. A speeding citation was dismissed.

James Daniel Borntrager, 43, Hillside Drive, Hanoverton, was fined $975, had his license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 20 hours community service for failure to control and physical control amended from OVI first offense.

Travis R. McKinnon, 44, Chester, W.Va., waived his right to an extradition hearing appearing as a fugitive from justice from the state of West Virginia where he reported faces charges of false evidence or forgery, etc. of a title and registrations and possession of heroin. McKinnon was fined $180 for driving under suspension, failure to control and a seat belt violation.

A March 31 pretrial was set for Derek D. Ball, 32, East Sixth Street, Salem, charged with OVI first offense and a stop sign violation.

A March 3 pretrial was set for Johnathan L. Thorne, 28, West Salem Street, Columbiana, cited with OVI first offense.

Cody R. Grove, 32, Youngstown, was fined $300 for possession of drug instruments and drug paraphernalia for digital scale with residue, a syringe and suspected narcotics in Columbiana on Oct. 6.

Christine A. Kling, 47, West Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $150 and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from theft for allegedly stealing $60 from one of the self-checkouts at Walmart in June.

A Feb. 10 pretrial was set for James J. Sheets, 35, Youngstown, charged with criminal trespassing for allegedly going onto the property of Belmont Properties on Jan. 29 after he was notified on Jan 4 by the managing agent not to return to the property.

Sara Christine Noling, 35, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, was fined $700, credited with 14 days served in jail, sentenced to an additional 20 days in jail for obstructing official business, driving under suspension and failure to display a valid sticker and two counts of drug paraphernalia.

James R. Maxwell, 44, St. George Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for criminal damaging for cutting Amber Beckwith’s tires in June. A March 15 restitution hearing was set.

Christian D. Heck, 37, Grange Road, Salem, was fined $150, required 20 hours community service and credited with 27 days in jail for domestic violence for punching his ex-wife about 10 times on Jan. 3.

A Feb. 8 pretrial was set for John D. Eaton, 55, East Liverpool Road, charged with domestic violence for allegedly harming or attempting to harm his wife, Camelia Eaton, on Monday.

Tammy L. Johnson, 53, McGavern Road, Salineville, was fined $150 for possession of marijuana. A citation for possession of marijuana paraphernalia was dismissed.
