–Deputies responded to the area of Boyd Road and state Route 39 at 1:54 a.m. Wednesday for a woman calling for help. Upon arrival deputies found she had been in a car crash, and Ohio State Highway Patrol arrived to handle the incident. They cited the driver Heather Carpenter, 46, of Dillonvale with OVI first offense, driving under suspension, and failure to control.

–Deputies responded to Phil’s Sales and Service LLC at 2:51 a.m. Wednesday for an alarm. When deputies arrived the key holder was already on scene and said the alarm had been a malfunction, and the building had already been checked.

–A deputy responded to Riffle Road at 3:14 a.m. Wednesday for a possible prowler. Deputies checked the area finding nobody.

–A deputy responded to Rogers Community Auction at 3:19 a.m. Wednesday for an unsecured door. A deputy noticed the Old Auction Barn garage door open en route to a call. The building was checked and had no signs of forced entry or vandalism. The deputy determined the cause to likely be neglect and secured the building.

–Deputies responded to Runzo’s Outdoor Sports at 4:05 a.m. Wednesday for a suspicious vehicle. Deputies found the vehicle to be damaged, with a note on the window stating the driver would return the next day to collect it. Deputies checked the business which appeared secure from ground level.
