LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court Thursday, Marc M. Bartholomew, 30, Carbon Hill Road, East Palestine; and Cody RM Cox, 31, Monroe Street, Newell, W.Va., were bound over to the grand jury, both charged with third-degree felony. The men were allegedly found in possession of three firearms and ammunition reported stolen by Bartholomew’s stepfather Aug. 11 from an East Martin Street home in East Palestine.
A pretrial was set Aug. 25 for Kazon L. Carter, 22, Commerce Street, Wellsville, charged with obstructing official business, aggravated menacing and assault; and a preliminary hearing was set Aug. 25, as well, for disruption of public service, a fourth-degree felony. He is accused of slapping the victim and taking her cell phone from her when she called police July 24 at their home, then retrieved two guns and threatened to shoot the victim and her son. He then allegedly fled on foot from police Aug. 16 in Wellsville while officers were attempting to arrest him on an warrant out of Columbiana County.
A preliminary hearing was set Aug. 25 for Danielle J. Bowers, 31, Morris Road, Lisbon, charged with possession of drug with forfeiture after allegedly being found in possession of methamphetamine during a traffic stop on state Route 154 April 3, 2021.
A pretrial was set Aug. 29 for Robert S. Pavlov, 50, Poland, charged with theft for allegedly stealing diesel fuel from his employer’s semi truck Aug. 17 in Columbiana.
A pretrial was set Aug. 29 for Jeremy C. Hall, 35, Greenbower Street, Alliance, charged with menacing by stalking for allegedly breaking out the victim’s window April 30 in Salem after making threats to her through texts and a seven-page letter.
A pretrial was set Sept. 1 for Ted L. Ingledue, 53, South Egypt Road, Salem, charged with OVI second offense, failure to control and a seatbelt violation.
A pretrial was set Sept. 12 for Henry J. Mills, 53, Grant Street, Salem, charged with receiving stolen property after allegedly being found in possession of scrap materials for which he had received $65 from a Lisbon Road, Salem Township, business Aug. 12.
A pretrial was set Oct. 13 for Tommy J. Lemasters, 46, Malone Road, Salineville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pushing the victim through the door of the home Aug. 16, causing her to fall and injury her leg.
A pretrial was set Oct. 17 for Haven Nicole Barricella, 27, Warren, charged with speed.
A pretrial was set Oct. 24 for Justin G. Turner, 31, Florida Avenue, Sebring, charged with physical control.
A pretrial was set Nov. 3 for Christopher L. Brown, 46, Walnut Street, Rogers, charged with driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set Nov. 3 for Nicholas Edward Glenn Packard, 36, Gahanna, charged with aggravated menacing after allegedly making threats to harm the victim during a traffic stop by the highway patrol Oct. 25 in Elkrun Township. He was also fined $100 for reckless operation.
A pretrial was set Nov. 7 for Jacob Austin Morgan, 24, Canton, charged with driving under suspension.
Kenneth A. Elkins, 24, Industry, Pa., was sentenced to 180 days in jail (170 suspended), fined $1,250, placed on two years probation and ordered to complete 30 hours of community service and substance abuse evaluation for OVI second offense, lighted lights required, no valid license and possession of marijuana.
William Grays, 20, Detroit, was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $350 for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.
Joel Patrick Morgan, 18, Youngstown, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from assured clear distance ahead.
Michael A. Welsh, 48, Carmel Achor Road, Negley, was sentenced to 30 days in jail (10 credited) and fined $300 for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
Kashmire Wiggens, 20, Detroit, was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $350 for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Jodi Ann Johnson, 24, West Railroad Street, Columbiana, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
Charles David Croft, 53, Deerfield, was sentenced to 60 days in jail (suspended), fined $750, placed on two years probation and ordered to complete 40 hours community service and an anti-prostitution class for engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools.
Alene Sue Jadloski-Thorton, 74, Aebi Avenue, Alliance, was fined $150 for no driver’s license amended from wrongful entrustment.
Matthew Crowl, 44, West Wilson Street, Salem, was sentenced to 60 days in jail (11 credited) and fined $150 for possession of drug abuse instrument.
Dawn M. Stoup, 49, Deerfield, was fined $140 for no driver’s license amended from driving under suspension and a traffic control device violation.
Brandon House, 26, Whinnery Road, Salem, was sentenced to 10 days in jail and fined $200 for receiving stolen property.
Kaleb E. Simpson, 32, state Route 7, New Waterford, was sentenced to 180 days (160 suspended, 11 credited), fined $150 and ordered to complete 20 hours of community service and substance abuse/anger management treatment and have no communication with the victims for domestic violence.
Jacklyn Marie Ernst, 40, Franklin Avenue, Alliance, was fined $30 for speed. A seatbelt violation was dismissed.
Tiffany M. Cox, 31, New Galilee, Pa., was fined $250 for driving under suspension and speed.
Dennis A. Higinbotham, 46, Wellsville Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and expired plates.
