LISBON –A Lisbon man faces a slew of charges in Columbiana County Municipal Court. A pretrial was set Nov. 4, for Charles Slocum, 38, Brookfield Road, charged with menacing, assault, resisting arrest, sexual imposition and disorderly conduct. Slocum allegedly sexually harassed female customers at the Mexico City Bar in Columbiana on Oct. 26. Slocum is accused of making sexual comments toward several females and inappropriately touching one. The man was asked to leave and reportedly proceeded to assault a man in front of the establishment by grabbing the man’s shirt and pulling him to the ground. Slocum later refused to be placed in a patrol car.
Andrew Freed, 18, Hadley Road, East Palestine was fined $350 and sentenced to 180 days in jail with five imposed and credit for two days served, 20 hours of community service and two years probation for theft. Hadley was seen on security footage removing $81 in cash from the Marathon Station in East Palestine on Aug. 15.
Joseph Ward, 34, Poland was fined $860 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for six days served for four counts of falsification, two counts of driving under suspension, marked lanes and stop sign. Ward was also sentenced to 60 hours of community service and two years probation. Ward provided officers with a false date of birth and social security number during a traffic stop at the Duch and Duchess in Columbiana on Oct. 26. Ward also provided false details during a traffic stop in St. Clair Township on April 20.
Tyler Day, 34, Bridgeport, was fined $500 for engaging in prostitution and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 suspended and credit for one day served. Day agreed to exchange $100, suboxone pills and “fire weed” for sexual activity with an undercover agent through a known prostitution website and traveled to East Palestine on July 23 to do so.
Kia Clemmer, 26, Dutchtown School Road, was fined $570 and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 140 suspended as well as 40 hours of community service and two years probation for OVI and speed.
A pretrial hearing was set Nov. 7 for Clayton Whitman, 28, Adams Avenue, Salem, charged with OVI, reasonable control, seat belt, telecommunications and menacing. Whitman allegedly sent several threatening text messages and emails to a female around Oct. 24.
Christopher Crooms, 35, Summit Drive, Salineville, was fined $300 for failure to control and failure to report.
A pretrial hearing was set Jan. 27 for Dylan Bredrick, 23, Park Way, East Liverpool, charged with contributing to the unruliness of a child and failure to comply. Bredrick allegedly was operating an ATV in the city of East Liverpool. When an officer, who observed Bredrick nearly causing an accident, attempted to initiate a traffic stop, Bredrick continued at a high rate of speed eluding law enforcement. He was later identified by the officer.
A pretrial hearing was set Jan. 2 for Michael Proctor, 54, Rochester Road, East Rochester, charged with criminal mischief. Proctor allegedly was involved in an altercation in West Township on Sept. 2 in which a victim sustained injuries and a vehicle was damaged.
A pretrial hearing was set Oct. 31 for Jason Ramsey, 22, East Third Street, Salem, charged with two counts of criminal trespass. Ramsey allegedly accessed a property in Salem and entered a car on Oct. 24.
Chris Yoder, 38, Georgetown Road, Salem, was fined $150 for an equipment violation.
A pretrial hearing was set Dec. 17 for Garrett Speelman, 29, Martha Street, East Liverpool, charged with OVI and speed.
A pretrial hearing was set Dec. 2 for Miles Kechum, 37, Steubenville Pike Road, Lisbon, charged with driving under suspension and reasonable control.
A pretrial hearing was set Jan. 6 for Brian McCaslin, 48, Woodland Avenue, Salem, charged with OVI.
Toby Ragsdale, 53, Scio, was fined $185 for speed, left of center and failure to control.
Angela English, 51, Ravenna, was fined $150 for speed.
Janlee Manypenny, 36, Benton Road, Salem, was fined $525 and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 170 suspended as well as 30 hours of community service and a two-year license suspension for OVI and tail lights.
A pretrial hearing was set Jan. 6 for Kameron Fennell, 25, Youngstown, charged with OVI and driving under suspension.
A pretrial hearing was set Jan. 6 for Rachel Hoffman, 22, Youngstown, charged with OVI and reckless operation.
A pretrial hearing was set Jan. 6 for Shelly Schuster, 52, Pittsburgh charged with OVI and speed.
