— Officers responded to the 1300 block of Fairview Avenue at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday for a reported runaway juvenile. Officers located the juvenile, and he was transported back to his residence; however, the juvenile requested an ambulance for transport to the hospital and the fire department and EMT responded to the scene. After medical personnel spoke with the child at length it was determined that he did not need to go to the hospital but just wanted to leave because he wanted snacks, and a snack was provided for him at the residence.

— Officers responded to the area of Hawley Avenue and East State Street at 5:58 p.m. Wednesday for a wellness check on a juvenile leaning on a tree. Officers spoke with the juvenile who advised his stepmother had yelled at him, so he ran away from home. The juvenile initially would not tell officers where he lived nor what had happened but after further conversation, he advised officers of his address and due to cold temperatures officers attempted to give him a ride back to the residence which was nearby. The juvenile then began to spring home while officers followed closely in cruisers and officers spoke with the juvenile’s stepmother who advised she didn’t know the juvenile had left and that the reason that he had was because she had asked him to help clean and when he didn’t, she had yelled at him.

— Officers responded to the 2400 block of East State Street at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday to speak with a possibly intoxicated driver. The driver was advised of the complaint, and she advised officers of a problem she was having with her windshield wipers, and no signs of impairment were observed.

— Officers responded to the 300 block of Newgarden Avenue at 6:14 p.m. Wednesday for a noise complaint. Officers spoke with both parties, who gave conflicting stories, and they were advised to try and keep it down.

— Officers spoke with a person at the police department at 5:11 p.m. Wednesday for a report of telecommunications harassment. The person advised that her brother sent her a harassing voicemail and she wants him to leave her alone, and that this had been an ongoing issue. Officers spoke with the brother who advised he will not contact her again.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of East Fourth Street at 3:22 p.m. Wednesday for a wellness check. The caller advised they had not seen their neighbor for a couple of days and officers were able to speak with the neighbor who advised they were fine.

— Officers responded to the 1700 block of East State Street at 1:02 a.m. Wednesday for a wellness check. Officers located the man in question and everything checked okay.

— Officers on patrol in the area of South Lincoln Avenue and Aetna Street at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday spoke with a pedestrian without incident.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of Penn Avenue at 2:54 p.m. Tuesday for a wellness check on a man who was reportedly walking in the area. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate anyone who matched the description given.

— Officers responded to the 800 block of West State Street at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday for a reported road rage incident. Officers spoke with both drivers and found that a crash had almost occurred and the driver in question was apologizing for almost striking the other motorist.
