LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a second-degree felony charge of burglary was dismissed against Lonnie David Cunningham, 31, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, who was already indicted for the charge by the county grand jury. He had been accused of trespassing in a residence in East Liverpool on Nov. 22, 2024. He was fined $230 and sentenced to one day in jail, with credit for one day served, for disorderly conduct, reasonable control and no seat belt from another case. On Oct. 17, 2024 in East Liverpool, Cunningham was publicly intoxicated, running into traffic and trying to jump into someone’s vehicle and yelling at people, acting verbally aggressive.
A pretrial was set Jan. 21 for Mark Allen Douglas, 40, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence and theft for allegedly pushing a woman into a wall during an incident Jan. 7 in East Liverpool and also allegedly taking her cell phone.
A pretrial was set Jan. 23 for Ronald Lee Buzzard, 47, Cleveland Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence and misconduct at an emergency for allegedly getting into a physical altercation with a woman while she was sitting inside a vehicle while at the scene of a house fire on Cleveland Avenue, East Liverpool on Jan. 11.
A pretrial was set Jan. 21 for Michael Dayne Greathouse, 42,Valley Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with assault for allegedly punching a woman in the face at the St. Clair Laundry Room in East Liverpool on June 17, 2024.
Brian Baughman, 50, Brightview Drive, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from assault for spitting in a woman’s face and throwing a metal cup of margarita mix, striking her in the back on Jan. 4, 2023 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set Jan. 23 for Kevin Pasco, 55, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, charged with assault for allegedly striking a woman in the face during an altercation on Oct. 19, 2024 in Wellsville.
Cody Pierson, 42, Sandy Creek Road, Minerva, was fined $250 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 27 days suspended and credit for three days served, for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. He was accused of grabbing a female by the arm and throwing her on the wall at a West Township residence on April 14, 2024. Pierson was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and have no contact with the victim.
Dustin Brooks, 38, Vine Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and sentence to 90 days in jail, with credit for 53 days served, leaving a balance of 37 days still to serve for domestic violence after being found competent. Brooks had been ordered evaluated for competency to stand trial. He was accused of destroying items in an East Liverpool residence with a brick, yelling and making threats against another man on Nov. 18, 2024. He was also sentenced to 20 days and received credit for 20 days already served for a probation violation for a 2024 case for domestic violence from a June 2024 incident.
Braden Phillips, 25, last known address Boardman, was fined $400 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 89 days suspended and credit for one day served for criminal damaging, unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for pushing a woman multiple times, causing minor scratches, trying to prevent her from leaving a residence in Hanover Township, and causing damage to a candle warmer by throwing it on Sept. 22, 2024. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service.
A charge of domestic violence was dismissed against Duane Helman, 56, state Route 558, Salem, with a stipulation to probable cause and court costs taxed to the defendant. Helman was charged with domestic violence for allegedly pushing a woman around when she had severe pain in her ribs on Sept. 21, 2024 at a state Route 558, Salem property. The ribs were broken earlier in the week and were healing.
Nathaniel Allen Newland, 19, Fifth Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $400 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 140 days suspended and credit for 27 days in jail, leaving a balance of 13 days still to serve for domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 60 hours community service. He was accused of choking a woman and breaking her television on Dec. 17, 2024 in Liverpool Township.
A pretrial was set March 17 for Cori Zook, 45, Camelot Drive, Columbiana, charged with endangering children for allegedly putting a child at risk due to the living conditions at the Columbiana residence when police responded on Jan. 11 to a hangup 911 call and found an alleged strong odor of animal urine and feces, along with piles of trash, dirty baby diapers, cigarette ashes, rotting food and other items, according to the police affidavit. The affidavit also said appliances seemed inoperable and there was only a few packs of ramen noodles and a few bottles of water and gatorade for food.
A pretrial was set April 10 for Brandon Michael Dorion, 24, Akron, charged with possessing criminal tools and soliciting for allegedly offering sex for hire in an ad on a known prostitution website in the male escort section and arranging for sexual activity with an undercover agent in exchange for $500, then traveling to East Palestine for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession on Jan. 11.
A pretrial was set April 7 for Timothy J. Kondik, 56, North Canton, charged with engaging in prostitution, possessing criminal tools and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly requesting sexual conduct for an agreed upon price of $300 from an undercover agent, then traveling to Salem on Jan. 10 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession. He also allegedly possessed a bag for the storage of dangerous drugs in his jacket pocket.
David Halko, 63, Erie, Pa., was fined $1,150 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 179 days suspended and credit for one day served, for engaging in prostitution, possessing criminal tools, drug paraphernalia and attempted possession of drugs. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and a 12-hour course which was already completed. He was accused of responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for money and crack cocaine, arriving March 14, 2024 in East Palestine for the meeting with suspected crack cocaine and crack pipes in his possession.
Jimmy Anderson, 34, Pine Hollow Road, Lisbon, was fined $250 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for one day served, leaving 29 days still to serve for violating a protection order for sending a letter to a protected person in Leetonia from the county jail on Nov. 15, 2024.
A pretrial was set Feb. 4 for Antwane McMeans Jr., 25, Youngstown, charged with drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, no seat belt and traffic control devices. During a traffic stop on Jan. 13 in East Liverpool, McMeans allegedly possessed two brown prescription bottles without labels containing a liquid residue.
Roger Bland Jr., 55, Stratton, was fined $75 for criminal damaging for removing the lock off of a woman’s storage unit in Center Township on Nov. 12, 2024. Documents said he did put a new lock and key back on the unit for her.
A pretrial was set March 27 for Sindy Juliano, 46, Chester, W.Va., charged with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and falsification for allegedly possessing a suspected crack pipe along with white powder folded up in a paper during a traffic stop on June 18, 2022 in Wellsville. The falsification charge stemmed from an alleged incident on Jan. 11 at the Quality Inn in St. Clair Township when she allegedly gave police a different name than her own.
Gregory Morris, 60, West State Street, Salem, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 176 days suspended and credit for four days served, for aggravated menacing. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. On Dec. 24, 2024 in Perry Township, Morris threatened a woman while allegedly holding a large kitchen knife.
Austin Angeli, 37, Allen Road, Salem, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for three days served, leaving a balance of 27 days still to serve in jail for obstructing official business, operating a vehicle impaired first offense, failure to stop after an accident and traffic control devices. His driver’s license was suspended for two years. Angeli left the scene of an accident at West State Street and the state Route 34/U.S. Route 62 bypass in Perry Township on Dec. 28, 2024 and was followed to Allen Road where he left the vehicle, fleeing behind his residence. He then allegedly took off running into the woods and was pepper sprayed after a police officer gave commands.
Michael Johnson, 47, First Street, Wellsville, was fined $200 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 15 days suspended and credit for 15 days served, for drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service. Johnson possessed a pill bottle with white pills inside and no markings and an eyeglass case with white powder on it during a traffic stop on July 19, 2024 in St. Clair Township.
Kortnee Brown, 32, Akron, was fined $1,025 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for operating a vehicle impaired first offense amended from a second offense and traffic control devices. Her driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted. She was ordered to complete 60 hours community service. A charge of OVI refusal with prior within 20 years was dismissed.
Zackary McKenzie, 32, Annesley Road, East Liverpool, was fined $1,330 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 150 days suspended and credit for two days served, leaving a balance of 28 days still to serve for two counts of OVI (with an OVI refusal merged for sentencing), driving under suspension, reckless operation, no seat belt and left of center. His driver’s license was suspended for two years and he was ordered to complete 20 hours community service.
Ragan Miller, 22, Poland, was fined $955 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for OVI, failure to control and no seat belt. Her driver’s license was suspended to one year, with driving privileges granted, and she was ordered to complete 20 hours community service.
A pretrial was set April 15 for Eric Francis, 44, West Duquesne Street, Columbiana, charged with OVI second offense, OVI refusal second offense and marked lanes.
A pretrial was set March 18 for Cena Williams, 42, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with driving under suspension, failure to stop after an accident and expired license.
A pretrial was set April 10 for David Schuster, 57, Brooklyn Avenue, Salem, charged with failure to yield from stop sign.
