— Firefighters responded to the 1400 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 6:22 p.m. Sunday for a report of a tree limb on a power line that was on fire. Firefighters found that the incident occurred within Perry Township’s jurisdiction and that the limb was not on fire. The Perry Township fire department was notified.

— Firefighters responded to the 300 block of West State Street at 1:55 p.m. Sunday for a reported tree down in the roadway. Officers located the tree and placed barricades.

— Firefighters responded to the 800 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 1:13 p.m. Sunday for a report of lines down with an occupant trapped in a vehicle with lines on it. Ohio Edison responded to assist with the removal of the lines to safely extricate the occupant from the vehicle. The occupant was extricated, and the street was closed until Ohio Edison could remove the downed lines.
