LISBON — A Salineville man convicted of kidnapping in 2011 faces two felonies for not providing a correct current address to the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office.

A preliminary hearing was set May 22 in Municipal Court for Christopher Crooms, 36, Summit Drive, Salineville, charged with fifth-degree felony failure to verify residence and fifth-degree felony failure to verify change of address. Crooms is required to verify his residence every 365 days for 10 years and last listed his address as a residence on state Route 517 in New Waterford. The owner of that property advised law enforcement he purchased the home on March 14 and did not know Crooms. Crooms is required to give notification within three days of a change of address.

A preliminary hearing was set April 28 for James Davisson, 30, Laurel Lane, East Liverpool, charged with felony-four resisting arrest while brandishing a deadly weapon, felony-five obstructing official business and disorderly conduct. Davisson allegedly threatened people in the parking lot of a Salineville apartment complex. When officers approached he fled on foot and refused to drop an open pocket knife in his hand. After tossing the knife, he resisted being handcuffed and had to be wrestled to the ground.

A preliminary hearing was set for Nathan Elkins, 36, Midland Pa, charged with tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, and obstructing official business. Elkins attempted to interfere with a search following a traffic stop on April 19 in Lisbon.

A preliminary hearing was set April 28 for Jason Holloway, 44, Dresden Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with fifth-degree felony aggravated menacing. After being arrested as a passenger in a traffic stop due to outstanding warrants and while being transported to jail, Holloway allegedly threatened the lives of an officer and the officer’s family while admitting gang affiliation.

Alec Post, 34, Myler Park, East Liverpool, was fined $75 for unauthorized use of a plate .

Nathan Adams, state Route 45, Lisbon was fined $300 for underage OVI and no tail lights. Adams was also sentenced to 30 days in jail with 27 suspended and received a one-year license suspension.

A pretrial hearing was set April 28 for Garret Cochran, 28, Globe Street, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Cochran allegedly took car keys from a female on Carolina Avenue following a physical altercation and took her car without permission.

Samuel Dutting, 21, Brookfield, was fined $100 for no driver’s license,

A pretrial hearing was set April 24 for Shanelle Roman, no age provided, Smithfield Street, East Liverpool, charged with failure to file and pay income tax in 2022.

A preliminary hearing was set for Jay Frantz, 35, East Chestnut, Lisbon, charged with felony-four failure to comply, driving under suspension and failure to yield. Frantz allegedly refused to pull over for an attempted traffic stop, fleeing at a high rate of speed on April 19 in Lisbon.

A pretrial hearing was set May 8 for Juan Hernandez, 43, Martin Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence. Hernanadez allegedly kicked a female at his residence on April 20.

A pretrial hearing was set June 26 for Tracy Douds, 47, Midland, charged with illegal drug use. Douds allegedly was found to be in possession of narcotics and a red straw during a traffic stop on April 19 in Lisbon.

A pretrial hearing was set June 9 for Thomas Wamsley, 50, Aliquippa, charged with engaging prostitution and possessing criminal tools. Wamsley allegedly made contact with an undercover agent and agreed to exchange $250 for sexual activity and traveled to Columbiana on April 18 to do so.

A pretrial hearing was set June 30 for Jennifer Perrot, 52, Howland, charged with possession of a drug abuse instrument and illegal drug use. Perrot allegedly was found to be in possession of three spoons with residue, a wet cotton swab and a loaded hypodermic needle by an officer investigating a suspicious person report at a business on North Main Street in Columbiana.

Faith McKeel, 26, Garfield Avenue, East Palestine was fined $100 and sentenced to two days in jail for disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence. McKeel threw objects at another person at her residence on July 22.

Adam Neider, Carrollton, 35, was fined $1,115 and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 170 suspended for OVI and marked lanes. Adams also received a one-year license suspension.

Nagendra Chundu, 25, Kent was fined $1,000 for possessing criminal tools amended from engaging in prostitution. Chundu made contact with an undercover agent and agreed to exchange sexual activity for $140 and traveled to Salem on Feb. 26 to do so.

A pretrial hearing was set May 5 for Jason McEldowney, 38, Blakely Street, East Liverpool, charged with obstructing official business. McEldowney allegedly fled inside his residence from officers responding to a domestic disturbance on April 20, ignoring commands and refusing to open the door.

A pretrial hearing was set June 9 for John Sedddon IV, 40 , Barclay Avenue, Salem, charged with physical control.

A turn signal violation was dismissed against Samual Bryan, 34, Youngstown.

A pretrial hearing was set May 1 for Matthew Barnes, 33, Hillside Drive, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence. Barnes allegedly struck a woman in the face at his residence on April 20.

Robert Vargo, 29, Akron was fined $1,005, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 suspended and received a one-year license suspension for OVI, driving under suspension and reasonable control.

A pretrial hearing was set May 1 for Taylor Foster, 29, Shady Lane, East Liverpool, charged with drug paraphernalia. Foster was allegedly found sleeping in the woods near Baum Street in EastLiverpool on Sept. 26. A metal tube used for inhalation of substances was reportedly located next to him.

A pretrial hearing was set July 8 for John Adams, 47, Holiday Street, East Liverpool, charged with no driver’s license, failure to comply and drug paraphernalia. Adams allegedly fled from officers on a motorcycle during a traffic stop attempt on April 3 on Pennsylvania Avenue in East Liverpool. Adams stopped at the corner of Andrews and Holiday Streets and was reportedly found to be in possession of a pipe used for inhalation of substances.
