Charles M. Clark

SALEM — Charles M. Clark, 91, of Salem, died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born on Aug. 7, 1927, son of the late Clyde and opal (Stayman) Clark.

He was employed by the U.S. Dept of Agriculture as a conservationist from 1953 to 1982 in various offices, ending in Lisbon office. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of WW II.

He was an active member of the Salem First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, the former Alice E. Wojtechko whom he married on July 2, 1950; his children, Michael D. (Elenora Rillon) Clark and Michelle D. (David) Huffman, both of Salem, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Marshall D. Clark, and a grandson.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Salem First United Methodist Church Chapel with the Rev. P. Doug George officiating. A time of visitation will be one hour prior to the services in the church parlor. The burial will follow the services in Grandview Cemetery. He will receive full military honors prior to burial.
