EAST PALESTINE — Edna M. Lipp, 95, of East Palestine, died Friday morning, March 22, 2019 at Assumption Village in North Lima where she had been a patient.
Born Jan. 1, 1924 in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Edna Kessler.
She had worked at one time with Felger’s Farms and was a member of the Mt. Calvary Community Church of Unity.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Lipp, Sr.; a son, Edward L. Lipp and two daughters, Geraldine Dufour and Beaverly A. Dregallo.
Survivors include her sons, Robert T. (Shirley) Lipp of New Middletown, John S. Lipp, Sr. of Connecticut, and Thomas L. (Nikki) Lipp of East Palestine; her daughters, Viola M. (Bob) McEwen of East Palestine and Betty I. (Raymond) Gori of Leetonia; two sisters, Bernice Getz and Ruth Sawyer; 29 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a number of great great grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home. Private burial will follow in Little Beaver Cemetery.
