LISBON — Elaine Evans, 84, formerly of Sunset Drive, died at 7:32 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Allay Senior Care.
Born April 17, 1934 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Clarence A. Bruey and the late Mary Alice (Lowry) Bruey Apple and had lived all of her life in the Lisbon area.
She worked in the office at Salona Supply Company for 12 years. She then worked for 25 years at McKinley Elementary as a teacher’s aide. She was a member of the Lisbon First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald E. “Jerry” Evans; a sister, Ruth E. Baker; a brother, Duane Bruey; and two stepbrothers, Ralph and Lloyd Apple.
Survivors include a daughter, Kellie (Robbin “Herbie”) Seidner of Lisbon; a grandson and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be 11a.m. Wednesday at the Lisbon First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Wayne Clark and Rev. Kathy Barton officiating. Burial will follow at Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lisbon Alumni Association or to the Lisbon First United Methodist Church.
