Jean Duer Leimbach

FINDLAY – Jean Duer Leimbach, 100, of Findlay and formerly of Salem, Ohio, died at 3:30 a,m, on Monday, June 22, 2020, at Birchaven Heights in Findlay. She was born on June 4, 1920, in North Jackson, Ohio to the late Joseph B. and Cleo (Orr) Duer.

She married Fredrick P. Leimbach on May 26, 1946, and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2006. She is survived by her daughter: Paula (Steven) Krugh of Findlay. Preceding her in death were her sisters: Martha (Robert) Ewing and Mary (Ben) Haines; brother: Paul Duer.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Womens Association in Salem, Ohio, the Findlay Lions Club, Fort Findlay Chapter D.A.R., Life member of NARFE, ex Regent of Phoebe Frances Chapter D.A.R. in Salem, life member of the Ohio State Officers Club, Ladies Auxiliary of Ohio SAR, life and charter member of Penn Ohio Locksmiths Association of which she was one of the organizers and for many years held offices of secretary and treasurer and was Editor of the monthly bulletin and was honored for her many years of service to the organization. She was a retired dental assistant, secretary and homemaker.

She has donated her body to the Medical College of Ohio. A private family service will be held at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay with Jerry Cooke officiating.
