Roberta Louise Mogielnicki

MARYSVILLE, Ohio– Roberta Louise Mogielnicki, of Marysville, Ohio died at her home in Marysville on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020 after waging a valiant six-year battle against colorectal cancer. She was 60 years of age. She was born March 13, 1960 in Salem, Ohio to the late Robert and Louise Mackey Ellyson. A licensed practical nurse, she was a 1978 graduate of Salem High School and received her nursing degree from Marion Technical College.

Lovingly known as “Bobbie,” she was an associate of Heartland of Marysville and Memorial Gables. In recent years, she was nurse case manager for Management and Network Services (MNS) in Dublin, Ohio. In the last few years with her battle with cancer, Bobbie remained active in her community as a volunteer at The Hope Center in Marysville. She loved crocheting, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Bobbie was an avid OSU Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan. She will be especially remembered for her kindness, comforting smile, and sense of humor. She was a loyal and devoted mother, sister, coworker, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune of knowing her.

Bobbie and her husband, Nick Mogielnicki, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this past Sept. 15 and enjoyed a marriage full of love, joy, and happiness together. She is survived by her daughters, Anna and Lauren Mogielnicki; her sisters, Denean (Frank) Yoder of Salem and Cris Klein of Louisville, Ohio; and other wonderful nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 7, 2020 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Underwood Funeral Home, 703 East Fifth Street, Marysville, Ohio 43040.
