LISBON — In County Municipal Court, Tarayza Laneice Marie Staples, 23, Niles, was fined $1,050, had her license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, speeding, possession of marijuana and a seat belt violation.
Timothy Smith, 32, Woodsdale Road, Salem, was sentenced to 60 days in jail, required 40 hours community service, fined $1,250 and had his license suspended for three years for OVI third offense and a turn signal violation.
Andre L. Owens Jr., 23, Warren, was fined $1,575, had his license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, unsafe vehicle, possession of marijuana and physical control amended from another OVI citation.
A March 3 sentencing hearing was set for Chester Bell, 57, Steubenville, who pleaded guilty to engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools for requesting a prostitute who would humiliate him and perform sexual acts in exchange for $100 on Dec. 26.
A March 7 pretrial was set for Brendan Burdette, 27, Hubbard, cited with failure to stop after an accident, driving under OVI suspension and failure to control.
A Feb. 10 pretrial was set for Terry Lee Mullins, 50, state Route 154, Lisbon, charged with public indecency for allegedly walking down state Route 154 with his pants falling down and his genitals exposed when a school bus full of children came down the road on Dec. 21.
A March 22 pretrial was set for Javier Ibarra Correa, 45, Sixth Street, Columbiana, cited with OVI first offense and reasonable control.
A March 7 pretrial was set for Aaron M. Laney, 46, Foundry Hill Road, Hanoverton, charged with engaging in prostitution, possession of criminal tools and possession of drugs for allegedly offering $40 in exchange for a sexual act with an undercover officer from the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force on Dec. 16.
Christopher Lee Moss, 71, Barberton, was fined $935, had his license suspended for a year, credited with a day in jail and sentenced to an additional six days in jail for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, driving under OVI suspension, use of an unauthorized plate, traffic control device violations and speeding. On Nov. 1, Moss was driving 85 mph in a 50 mph zone in Columbiana and did not stop until just east of Beeson Mill Road.
Michael Todd Kuhn, 60, Enon Valley, Pa., was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for engaging in prostitution for requesting sexual activity in exchange for $50 from an undercover agent. A possession of criminal tools citation was dismissed.
Michael Paul Quintana, 40, Duke Vodrey Road, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for engaging in prostitution for arranging sex for 30 minutes with a prostitute in exchange for $70 on Nov. 3. A possession of criminal tools were dismissed.
A Jan. 18 pretrial was set for Jeffrey J. Pitzer, 62, Rose Avenue, Salem, charged with criminal trespass for allegedly going into the Salem Music Center on Monday when he had been told not to return there on Dec. 15.
James R. Lamp., 46, Foundry Hill Road, Summitville, was fined $300, credited with a day in jail and required 40 hours community service for a head lights violation and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle for a nine-millimeter handgun with a loaded magazine in the back of his truck while he had suspected drugs in his possession on June 1.
A Jan. 18 pretrial was set for Abbigail Joy Heaberlin, 23, North Sumner Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly kicking, punching and hitting Emily Hubbard in the head with a bag full of prescription bottles, tearing down the Christmas lights and destroying the porch camera on Christmas Eve.
A March 7 pretrial was set for Emily N. Brotherton, 29, state Route 154, Lisbon, cited with driving under suspension and speeding.
Corey P.J. Miller, 29, East Park Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $280 for driving under suspension and failure to dim headlights.
A March 7 pretrial was set for William D. Faulkner, 33, Gromley Road, Salem, cited with driving under suspension.
Tyler Cunningham, 24, Malvernon Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.
Michael T. Gbur, 56, Hollyhock Way, Salem, was fined $75 for driving under suspension.
Matthew S. Pliska, 39, West Calla Road, Salem, was fined $75 for driving under suspension.
A receiving stolen property charge against Robert C. Cochran Jr., 33, North Jackson, was dismissed. He had been accused of pawning a yellow Nintendo Switch Lite and Mitopia video game around June 21 or 22, after they were stolen from a West School Street, Salem, apartment.
Hit skip and reckless operation citations against Ralph R. Groff, 84, Mattix Road, Lisbon, were dismissed.
