‘Thankful’ for the publishing of Schultz column

To the editor:

Thank you for publishing the op-ed written by Connie Schultz titled “What a State of our Union.”

This particular op-ed is a very good illustration of the sickness which prevails with those who hold an extreme hatred for President Trump. It also reveals that this hatred extends to this country at large.

As I read this op-ed, it occurred to me that Ms. Schultz can be identified as a “Left Wing Liberal Progressive.” Whether Ms. Schultz knows it or not she is a follower of the infamous Saul Alinsky who wrote “Rules for Radicals.” He dedicated his treatise to the devil.

Ms. Schultz’s op-ed follows, at minimum, these following rules:

1. Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.

2. Keep the pressure on.

3. Push the negative hard and deep. It will break through into the counter side. In other words, a lie told often enough will eventually be construed as true.

4. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

For example, she resorted to name calling by using words such as “feed the beast, racist, misogyny.”

She criticized the president for giving the Presidential Medal of Honor to Rush Limbaugh and not the Tuskegee airman. She did not mention that President Barak Obama presented this “prestigious medal” to 123 recipients. This is the most that any president has given. Obama presented these awards to people such as Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Bruce Springsteen, Robert DeNiro, Tom Hanks and many others. Obama could have given his to Brig. General McKee but did not. My personal guess is the general did not donated to Obama’s political campaign.

She shows here disregard to the laws of this country by using the term, “undocumented immigrants.” It is apparent that the term illegal means nothing to her. She used the term “racist” for President Trump’s attack on these “undocumented immigrants.” Upholding the immigration laws of this country is not an attack!

Without going into detail, she conveys the idea that this president has denied food stamps to the poor. This is not a true statement. There are less people dependent on food stamps because more people are employed.

I believe the president says what he means and means what he says. Read his inaugural address.

I would like to audit one of her classes to determine if she promotes objective journalism: the act of reporting facts.

I am sure that Ms. Schultz’s is happy with her writings are protected by the Constitution of this great country. Again, I thank you for allowing Ms. Schultz to reveal her true political machination.
