A win-win for all involved

To the editor:

Without hesitation, I am confident the latest realignment of personnel concerning the Columbiana County Port Authority is an absolute win/win not only for the Port Authority but Columbiana County as a whole.

I am referring to former Land Bank Director Robert (Bobby) Ritchey leaving the Land Bank and joining the Port Authority in a position of writing grants for economic development and other projects. I am confident his success in directing the Land Bank will continue in his new venture working in conjunction with Tad Herold, the Director Of Economic Development, who has proven to be a person of wisdom, compassion and integrity.

Haeden Panezott has been named to succeed Ritchey and he has the knowledge and experience to continue in the well-established Land Bank program which again is a win for our county.

These moves exemplify the continuing progress being pursued by the Port Authority CEO Penny Traina and its board of directors for the betterment of Columbiana County.

Paul Anthony,
