Ladybug, you are so right. A few stiffer penalties at the start and maybe, just maybe, we wouldn't have so many horrendous crimes.

When there's a pattern of behavior, please put them away longer--at the least it would delay a bigger crime.

According to his record he seems to keep rolling along.

Maybe a don't do it again will service.

So brave to shoot someone in the back. Prosecutor will ask for maximum penalty and I guarantee you it will be pleaded down. To much work for the attorneys to prepare a case and take it to a jury. So easy to plead down. The guy can also say he was on drugs and be sent to a rehab center. Poor baby!

Not to defend any one. But the penalty is based on what he's convicted of.

The procecuter needs to go for maximum possible.

I hope the judge gives him the death penalty, to be carried out 6 months after the ruling. It's time to take a real stand against this kind of evil, if our judges and law makers had the guts to make it happen.

Nothing says brotherly love like shooting your brother in the back 4 times.
