Ashley Kibler exchanges vows with Zach Kennedy

Ashley Kibler and Zach Kennedy were united in marriage on June 30 at the Salem Presbyterian Church with Thomas Allmon officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Becky Kibler of Hanoverton. The bridegroom is the son of Kirk Kennedy of Salem and Maria Kennedy of Chattanooga, Tenn.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Nuptial music was provided by vocalists Sarah Blasiman, Andrew Shearer and Vince and Leslie Ward. They were accompanied by the pianist Karen Blasiman.

The bride wore a white strapless, drop waist wedding gown with a corset back closure. The bodice of the dress was ruched with a sweetheart neckline featuring an iridescent crystal and beaded belt around the waist. The bottom of the wedding gown was ruffled organza accented with rosettes. Her elbow-length veil was fashioned with iridescent beading held by a jeweled tiara. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas, violet orchids and violet calla lilies.

The bride's sister, Tracy McKenzie, served as matron of honor.

The bridegroom's sister, Lindsay Kennedy. served as a bridesmaid; along with Carrie Bartholomew, Lindsay Sechrist, Mallorie Estell, Alison Thompson, Colby Adams and Michelle Petruska. The attendants were attired in strapless, marine blue, ruched, cocktail-length, dresses with violet sashes at the waist. They carried bouquets of blue hydrangeas and violet orchids with violet satin ribbon. The bride's niece, Bailey McKenzie, served as the flower girl and wore a white ruffled dress with marine blue accents.

Will Fithian served as the best man. Groomsmen were the bridegroom's cousin, Will Flannigan; the bride's brother, Benjamin Kibler; the bride's brother-in-law, Bill McKenzie. Additional groomsmen Quinn Hoover, Zach Crouse, Pete Berlin and Bill Borrelli. The bride's nephew, Brandon McKenzie, served as a junior groomsmen. Bryce McKenzie, the bride's nephew, served as the ring bearer.

Special honored guests were the bride's grandparents Jack and Betty Hawthorne; the bridegroom's grandmother, Mryna Kennedy; and bridegroom's grandfather, Kenneth Kuhns.

Approximately 350 guests attended the reception at the Embassy in Boardman. The three-tiered wedding cake was baked and decorated by Brenda Johnson. The cookies were prepared by Danielle Rose, Lori Marietta, Linda Courtney, Nikki Courtney and Kelly Hahlen.

The new Mrs. Kennedy is a third and fourth-grade intervention specialist at Newton Falls Middle School in Newton Falls. She is currently obtaining a master's degree in educational technology, online, from Boise State University.

Mr. Kennedy is currently employed as a sales coordinator and software administrator at East Manufacturing in Randolph. He is attending Kent State University and plans to graduate in the spring 2013 with a degree in computer management technology.

The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and reside in Salem.
