Western Reserve 38

CANFIELD - South Range used a 15-0 run in the first quarter en route to a 58-38 win over Western Reserve Thursday.

Leading the Lady Raiders was Lexi Naples with 16 points, five rebounds, four steals and four assists. Starla Sharp added 10 points and six rebounds. Kendall Syms and Stevie Taylor both added six points each.

Linley Mamonis led Reserve with 12 points. Tory White added nine, and April Lude had seven.

A complete box score was not available.

South Range (1-1) hosts Poland Monday.

Crestview 61,

Leetonia 41

LEETONIA - Crestview topped Leetonia 61-41 in Thursday girls basketball action.

Leading the Lady Rebels was Annie Hardenbrook with a game-high 19 points. Ashley Harrison added 16 points and four steals. Morgan Newbauer added 13 points and eight rebounds.

For Leetonia, Kinzie Smith and Nicole Mann had 10 points each. Mann added seven rebounds.

Crestview (3-0) hosts Youngstown Christian Saturday.

Leetonia (1-1) plays Saturday at Western Reserve.

SEBRING - Sebring's Kelsi Settle had 14 points, 12 rebounds and seven steals to help lead the Lady Trojans past Heartland Christian 47-18. Murphy Floers added 16 points and seven steals, and Sydney Smith had eight points and six rebounds.

Ginny Burgess had seven points for Heartland.

Sebring (1-1) will host Canton Heritage Monday.

LISBON - Columbiana improved to 2-0 on the season with a 47-35 win over Lisbon Thursday.

Leading the Lady Clippers was Khylea Fullum with 21 points. Lauren Schlueter added 11, and Megan Cutlip had eight.

For Lisbon, Pam Pierce had 12 points, seven rebounds, three steals and three assists.

Tiffany Ketchum added eight points, while Taylor Siefke had six.

Columbiana (2-0) hosts Crestview Monday.

HANOVERTON - United is off to a 2-0 start after defeating Salem 56-33 Wednesday in Hanoverton.

Leading the Lady Eagles was Emily Zehentbauer with a game-high 20 points. Mollie Phillis added 10 points and MacKenzie Gatchel added eight.

"The girls did an amazing job tonight," United head coach Sam Mathias said. "They were focused and executed our game plan. They did a really nice job for four quarters. I'm very pleased with our effort, and it gives us more to build upon."

For the Lady Quakers Megan Lehwald had a team-high 12 points. Tori Jones added 11.

Salem won the J.V. game 37-28.

United (2-0) plays Saturday at St. Thomas.

Salem (0-2) begins Northeastern Buckeye Conference play Saturday at Alliance.
