EL man gets probation for marijuana possession

LISBON - In Columbiana County Common Pleas Court, Sean M. Green, 28, Riley Avenue, East Liverpool, was sentenced to three years intense supervised probation for possession of marijuana for 957 grams inside an Orchard Avenue, East Liverpool home last January.

Douglas G. Pridemore, 43, Dresden Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to two counts of failure to appear for hearings on April 29 for two different charges, possession of drugs and burglary. He faces up to three years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Sentencing is Jan. 17.

Nathaniel D. Carter, 30, McKinnon Road, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to illegal use of supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits for $408 worth of food purchased last Jan. 2 using a food stamp card belonging to Velinda Cunningham. He faces up to 12 months in prison and a $2,500 fine. Sentencing is Jan. 24.

Matthew J. Ankrom, 22, Boardman, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen for having a stolen Smith and Wesson pistol belonging to John Anderson, Sunrise Drive, Center Township. He faces up to 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine. Sentencing is Jan. 24.

Jimmy L. Dubose Jr., 37, Apple Street, Salem, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for one tablet of Hydrocodone found in his front pants pocket. He faces up to a year in prison and a $2,500 fine. Sentencing is Jan. 25.

Michael S. Smith, 30, state Route 154, Lisbon, pleaded guilty to burglary for breaking into the home of Tom Switalski and taking 17 firearms, magazines and ammunition on June 25. He faces up to three years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Sentencing is Jan. 25.

Robert J. Lutman, 36, state Route 517, Lisbon, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for Psilocyn found in a pouch on his vehicle's visor. He faces up to a year in prison, a five-year license suspension and a $2,500. Sentencing is Jan. 24.

David L. Jackson, 58, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, guilty to possession of drugs for a crack pipe. He faces up to a year in prison, a five-year license suspension and a $2,500. Sentencing is Jan. 31.

Chad E. Kellogg, 36, Commerce Street, Wellsville, pleaded guilty to domestic violence for grabbing his wife about the neck, choking her, throwing back into a chair and headlock. He faces up to 18 months in prison and a $2,500 fine. Sentencing is Jan. 25.

Joseph P. Wood, 28, Saline Street, Irondale, was sentenced to an additional year for a probation violation for a previous complicity to trafficking in drugs conviction from 2008.
