Bowling league results announced

EAST LIVERPOOL - Sparks Auto Clinic with four leads the standings of the Sportsman Bowling League held at Walnut Lanes. Affordable Appliance, NAPA Auto Parts, Furniture Guys and Drunkin Bums all have two and Six Recycling has zero. Terry Taylor bowled a high game of 259 with a series of 692, Tim Pancake bowled a high game of 245 with a series of 695 and Norm Plumm Sr. bowled a high game of 222. John Hoobler had a series of 604.

Tennis league results announced

BOARDMAN - Craig Miller was named a Tier 1 Honorable Mention in the 10th Boardman Tennis center Fall Junior Team Tennis League. Miller players for the Green team. Miller won twice. Also, Kayla Laurich leads the Green team with 11.5 sets won so far in league play.

Oak Glen holding alumni games

NEW MANCHESTER - The Oak Glen Girls and Boys Basketball Boosters will be holding fundraiser alumni games for both women and men Jan. 5 at Oak Glen High School. There will be a varsity wrestling match against Wheeling Park starting at noon and varsity girls and boys basketball games against Madonna following the alumni fundraiser games starting at 6 p.m.

Wellsville seeking head varsity football coach

Concealed carry pistol class being held

LISBON - The Columbiana County Fish & Game Club will be offering a two-day concealed carry pistol class from 6-10 p.m. Dec. 20 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 22 at their indoor range on Middle Beaver Rd. in Lisbon. EL Blue & White Touchdown Club meeting

EAST LIVERPOOL - The East Liverpool Blue & White Touchdown Club will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Dairy Queen. Parents for the 2013 season are encouraged to attend. There are several board positions open.

Beaver Local Touchdown Club meeting

CALCUTTA - The Beaver?Local Touchdown Club will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the high school. Officers for the 2013 season will be elected.

Middle Beaver Girls Softball Association
