FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP - The Fairfield-Waterford High School Class of 1959 will meet or a coverdish dinner at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at the home of Jane Kress in Lisbon.
Salem Masons to host buffet
SALEM-A public breakfast buffet will be served from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Dec. 22 at the Salem Masonic Temple, 788 E. State St.
Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children under age 10 and free for children under 2. The menu offers pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, homemade sausage gravy, biscuits, homefries, toast, fruit cocktail, orange juice, coffee and tea. The building is equipped with a handicapped accessible elevator. Proceeds will be directed to the Salem Masonic Temple Building Fund.

GREENFORD - The Greenford High School Class of 1958 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 20 at the Salem Hills Golf and Country Club. All classmates and friends are invited.
Goshen HS '41 to meet
SALEM - The Goshen High School Class of 1941 will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. Dec. 18 at the Salem Hills Golf and Country Club.
TOPS 1380 holds meeting
SALEM - TOPS 1380 met Dec. 10 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Shirley Bullis leading the TOPS pledge and prayer. The KOPS pledge was led by Margaret Phillips, Barb May, Cora Jean Briggs and Dorothy Mussler. Award winners were Barb May, KOPS; and Debbie May, honorable mention. November royals were Tye Wehr, TOPS; and Phillips, KOPS. Eleanor May won the rolling cash five. Members gave a gift to the Salem Salvation Army.
The final meeting for 2012 is Dec. 17. Meetings will resume on Jan. 7.
Quilt group to meet
CANFIELD - That Quilt Group I Belong To will meet for dinner at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at Fair Park. Doors open at 6 p.m. Cost is $15. Reservations may be made by calling Donna Bishop at 330-533-1202. Those attending are asked to bring a wrapped, unfinished quilting project, or eight quarters, for the gift exchange. Membership is open to all interested quilters at all skill levels. VFW 892 Aux. to meet
SALEM - The Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 892's meeting and Christmas party begins at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at the post home. No gift exchange is planned, instead a donation will be made to the Salem Salvation Army. Members are asked to bring a finger food for the party.
R-Weigh holds meetings
SALEM - The R-Weigh weight groups met at 1 and 5 p.m. Monday at the Faith Chapel. A loss of 21 pounds was recorded for the week. Good losers were Sylvia Eller, Jeni Alwood and Marian Doerr. Sue Carver and Rachel Weaver were the goalies for the week. The can-do monetary drawing was won by Helen Baker, Judy Catlett and Roni Fauver. Mary Hefner earned the eight weeks of losing monetary award. Ruth Ann Hall and Angie Reichle were awarded leaded glass flowers made my Shirley Dias for attaining their goals. The afternoon group will celebrate October through December birthdays with a low-fat low-calorie luncheon on Monday. Members are to bring their table service and a beverage. There will be no meetings on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 because of the holidays. R-Weigh meetings resume on Jan. 7.
