Sebring 38, Western Reserve 31

SEBRING - Sebring outlasted Western Reserve in a defensive battle Friday 38-31.

Leading the Trojans was Kirby Wilt with 11 points. Josh Hurford added 10 points, four steals and nine rebounds, and Dylan Mick tallied eight points and eight rebounds. Eddie Kolisar also had 10 rebounds and four blocks.

For Western Reserve, Nick Tobin had 13 points. Payton Snyder added seven.

The Sebring jayvee team also won 51-46 in overtime. Andrew Weingart had 20 for the Trojans.

Sebring (3-4, 2-3 ITCL Tier 2) hosts Jackson-Milton Jan. 4. Western Reserve (2-5, 1-4 ITCL Tier 2) plays Friday at West Branch.

BELOIT - Alliance used a 19-3 first quarter to power past West Branch 68-44 Friday in Beloit.

Leading the Aviators was Kordelle Philips with 25 points. J.J. Kukura added 16.

For West Branch, Beau Taylor had 12 points. Kip DeShields had six points and seven rebounds.

West Branch won the jayvee game 55-45.

West Branch (1-6, 0-4 NBC) hosts Western Reserve, Friday, Dec. 28.

Alliance improves to 6-1, 4-0 NBC.

CANFIELD - South Range's Garrett Anderson had 18 points and 10 rebounds to help lead the Raiders past United 69-26 Friday.

Tyler Beverly added 15 points and 12 rebounds, Robbie Seman had 12 points, and Jake Arsuffi had 11.

Cody Dickens had six points for United.

South Range won the jayvee game 37-27. Leading South Range was Johah Wilson with 10 points. Gary Miller added nine.

South Range (3-4, 2-3 ITCL Tier 1) will host Brookfield Dec. 28.

United (0-7, 0-4 ITCL Tier 1) plays at Leetonia also Dec. 28.

EAST PALESTINE - East Palestine's Austen Reiser had 19 points and 20 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs past Lisbon 61-43.

East Palestine jumped out to an 11-2 lead after one quarter and kept the Blue Devils at bay.

Nick Monteleone and Zack MayRobb added 12 points each, and Steve Parker had 10.

For Lisbon, Avery Andric had nine points. Matt Spencer added eight.

East Palestine won the jayvee game 53-20. Leading the Bulldogs was Phil Fusetti with 12 points.

East Palestine (4-3, 4-1 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Warren JFK Wednesday.

Lisbon (4-2, 3-2 ITCL Tier 1) plays Friday at Youngstown Christian.

NEW WATERFORD - Springfield topped Crestview 47-42 Friday.

Leading the Tigers was Eoghan Bees and Mark Shuler with 18 points each.

For Crestview, Robert Logan had 19 points and 14 rebounds. Evan Nentwick added nine points, four steals and four assists.

Springfield won the jayvee game 51-44. Leading the Rebels was Greg Bable with 13 points.

Crestview (3-4, 2-3 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Heartland Christian Friday.

Springfield improves to 6-0, 5-0 ITCL Tier 1.
