BELMONT -Their fate has been sealed.
Three local girls' basketball teams learned their postseason futures as the draw was held Sunday afternoon for the Ohio Division II Eastern District Sectional Tournament.
The tournament will be held starting Feb. 11 down at Union Local High School. This is the first year the school has hosted the tournament.

The last few years the tournament was held at Ohio University Eastern in St. Clairsville.
All told, nine teams will be taking part in the tournament. The three local teams - East Liverpool, Beaver Local and Edison - will be joined by non locals Carrollton, Minerva, Indian Creek, Steubenville, Tri-Valley and Buckeye Local.
Carrollton (16-4) is the No. 1 seed in the tournament. Minerva (15-5) is seeded second. Indian Creek (15-5) is the No. 3 seed. Big Red (13-7) is seeded fourth. Tri-Valley (8-10) is the No. 5 seed. East Liverpool (7-12) is the sixth seed. Buckeye Local (4-15) is seeded seventh. Edison (4-16) is the No. 8 seed. Beaver Local (3-16) is seeded ninth.
The tournament is scheduled to get underway at 7 p.m. Feb. 11 as Buckeye 8 and Jefferson County rivals Edison and Buckeye Local meet in the lone quarterfinal. The Panthers and Wildcats split this season with both teams winning at home.
There will be two semifinals on Feb 13 and 14. The games on the 13th are in the upper bracket. The games played on the 14th are in the lower bracket.
The Warriors will take on the Beavers at 6 p.m. Feb. 13 in the first matchup of the night, while the Potters will take on Big Red in the nightcap at 8 p.m.
The Redskins and Scotties will battle at 6 p.m. Feb. 14 in the first semifinal of the night, while the Lions will take on the winner of the game between the Panthers and Wildcats at 8 p.m.
The sectional co-finals are set for Feb. 19. The upper bracket final is scheduled for 6 p.m., while the lower bracket final is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
The winners will advance to the Eastern District Tournament starting at 6 p.m. Feb. 28 out at Zanesville High School.
The lower bracket winner from Union Local will play in the district semifinals at 6 p.m., while the winner of the upper bracket will play at 8 p.m. The winners from Union Local will take on the winners of the sectional tournament at Tri-Valley.
The Eastern District Final is scheduled for 7 p.m. March 2.
