EL woman gets probation on drug charge

LISBON - Melinda R. Peterson, 21, West Fourth Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to three years probation for four counts of permitting drug abuse. According to court documents, in the fall of 2011, Zachary Sabol was selling marijuana from Peterson's apartment on North Beaver Street in Lisbon.

Jerry L. Adams, 62, Tomahawk Drive, Negley, was sentenced to two years probation for worker's compensation fraud for failing to pay premiums to the Bureau of Worker's Compensation for his business, Quaker Pools and Spas, state Route 170, Calcutta.
