LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Tuesday, Joshua R. Smith, 30, Tippecanoe, was bound over to the grand jury on an illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor establishment charge. According to court documents, Smith is accused of having a handgun in his possession at the Foxes Den shortly after midnight on Jan. 1 and pointing it at the abdominal area of another man in a threatening manner.

Mark Brown, Pritchard Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $1,000, had his license suspended for six months, credited with nine days in jail already served and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense, no license, failure to control and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for taking his girlfriend's vehicle without her consent on Feb. 23. A restitution hearing was set for April 4 regarding the vehicle.

Shawn Allen Legg, 49, Steubenville, was fined $305 and required 25 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license, a turn signal violation and a seat belt violation.

Brandon J. Zepernick, 19, Buffalo Road, Kensington, was fined $300, sentenced to seven days in jail in addition to the three already served and required 50 hours community service for underage consumption and failure to control.

Michael A. Gubesch, 34, Pleasant Ridge Street Southeast, Minerva, was fined $250, given credit for eight days served and required 80 hours community service for domestic violence for punching Tabbitha Boyd in the head several times and once in the mouth on Feb. 14.

Cody A. Wilson, 22, West South Range Road, Salem, was fined $100 and sentenced to 15 additional days in jail beyond the 15 he has already served for disorderly conduct for public intoxication.
