Kensington man sentenced for theft

LISBON - Joseph D. Johns, 27, Lynchburg Road, Kensington, was sentenced in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to nine months in prison with credit given for 58 days served.

Johns pleaded guilty to theft in April for taking four guns from the home of Lisa Linerode, Rochester Road, East Rochester, last summer and selling three of the guns to William A. Cameron. The other was reportedly stolen from him.

Lisa M. Wright, 31, Maple Drive, Boardman, was sentenced to two years in the reformatory for women in Marysville, but credited with 161 days already served. Wright had pleaded guilty to burglary in April in for breaking into the home of James Browne, East Clark Street, East Palestine on Dec. 19, 2010.
