- Jeff Coil, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported Thursday a substantial amount of cash was stolen from a box in his unlocked pickup.

- Patty Hoppel, state Route 518, West Point, reported Tuesday a small ATV was stolen from her yard. She said the ATV actually belongs to her neighbor who gave it to them for their grandson to ride.

-Dillon Allen, Fife Coal Road, Wellsville, reported Tuesday the shotgun his father bought him when he was 8 was taken from his father, who is currently separated from his mother and recently moved out. Allen was advised this was a civil matter and to contact an attorney.

- Rhonda and Richard Beadnell, Lincoln Street Extension, Salineville, reported their home had been broken into between 8:25 a.m. and 12:55 p.m. Tuesday by someone who entered through a basement window. Stolen were jewelry and a handgun.

- Tina Mellington, Lisbon Road, Lisbon, reported items were stolen Tuesday night from her unlocked vehicles.

- Keith Cusick, Crestview Road, New Waterford, reported his home was broken into between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Thursday and two TVs were stolen, along with his daughter's laptop computer and some jewelry. The door was unlocked at the time and there was no sign of forced entry.

- Deputies were called to the Beaver Local Middle School in regard to an unruly male student at 8:28 a.m. Thursday. The boy, a special needs student, had become angry at a teacher and ran across state Route 7 to the tennis courts, where school officials caught up with him. The boy told the deputy he became upset after a teacher ordered to get his book from his locker, and the deputy told him his behavior was unacceptable and that he needs to mind his teachers.
