LISBON - In Columbiana County Common Pleas Court, Jeffrey A. Carl, 56, Prospect Street, Salem, was placed on four years probation for cultivation of marijuana.
According to court documents, Carl on April 20, 2011 had more than 1.7 pounds of marijuana growing in his home where his daughter was also living.
- Kasmond P. Parker, 26, Warren, stipulated to violating his treatment plan for complicity to trafficking in drugs and was sentenced to six months in prison with a six-month license suspension.
Parker was indicted in Mahoning County on a robbery charge in September. Parker's initial charge here was for assisting Francis Lewis in committing a trafficking offense. Lewis was convicted of trafficking in drugs.
- Scott A. Chaffee, 20, College Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to four years intervention in lieu of conviction for breaking and entering. According to court documents, Chaffee and James Heath broke into the BP Unimart on Dresden Avenue, East Liverpool on Jan. 6, stealing several packs of cigarettes, energy drinks and lottery tickets. A breaking and entering charge against Heath remains pending.
- Jason L. McEldowney, 27, St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, was sentenced to four years intervention in lieu of conviction for possession of drugs. According to court documents, McEldowney had .3 grams of heroin in a plastic baggie inside his mouth on April 7, 2012 on Norton Street in East Liverpool.
- Timothy Allen Hicks Jr., 21, West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, was sentenced to three years probation for receiving property. Hicks was found on Oct. 4, 2012 riding a Yamaha dirt bike which had been stolen from Mary Beth Lewis.
