EAST PALESTINE-Kayla L. McDanel, 25, of Carbon Hill Road, died Thursday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on state Route 165 in Unity Township.
She was born Sept. 4, 1988, in Brighton Township, Beaver County, Pa., a daughter of Kathleen Eichenberger McDanel and Brian McDanel. She had been employed at Perkins Restaurant in Boardman as a shift supervisor.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ in East Palestine.
She is survived by her mother, Kathy McDanel of East Palestine; her father, Brian McDanel and his fiance, Julie Ottati, of York, N.C.; her loving companion, Dorian Sheets; a son, Aayrian Nicolas; and two daughters, Madison Nicole and Lillian Rae. A brother, Chris McDanel of Youngstown and her grandparents, Bob and Darlene Johnson of New Waterford and Sam and Jackie McDanel of Chippewa, also survive her.
Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home. The service will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with her minister, Robert J. Helbeck, officiating.
