Columbiana falls to Reserve

BERLIN CENTER - Joe Falasca led with 21 points, helping lead Western Reserve to victory over Columbiana 65-50 Tuesday.

Nolan Snyder also led the Blue Devils with 18 points, followed by Nick Allison with 10.

For Columbiana, Devin Rice led with 17 points, followed by Dylan Ferraro with 10.

Western Reserve rallied to win the junior varsity game, 37-35. Tommy Woolf scored 10 points for the Blue Devils. Burdette Baker had 17 for the Clippers.

Lisbon 57, Sebring 34

LISBON - Lisbon shot 56 percent from the field and held Sebring to 10 points in the second half on the way to a 57-34 win Tuesday.

The Blue Devils improve to 17-4 overall, while Sebring drops to 7-15.

Avery Andric hit five three-pointers for a game-high 19 points along with six rebounds to lead the Blue Devils.

Austin Rutecki collected 15 points, Josh Craig 12 points and seven rebounds, and Josh Liberati had 11 assists and seven rebounds. Matt Spencer made three steals.

Lisbon led 25-24 at halftime before outscoring the Trojans 32-10 in the second half.

Josh Zmuda guided the Trojans with 11 points.

Lisbon also won the reserve game, 48-46. Collin Sweeney and Jason Thompson each scored 12 points for the Blue Devils. Alex Wheeler had 19 for the Trojans.

Lisbon will host East Palestine on Friday.

South Range 36

GREENFORD - Lakeview outscored South Range 26-19 in the second half to beat South Range, 46-35, Tuesday.

Jake Rosowicz hit a three-pointer in each period to lead the Bulldogs with 12 points. Jake Pishotti added 11 points and Brandon Keller 10.

The Bulldogs led 33-28 after three quarters and pulled away despite missing all five of their free throws in the fourth quarter.

Mark Vennetti topped South Rang with 13 points. Garrett Anderson contributed 10.

South Range won the reserve game, 47-44.

The Raiders will play at West Branch on Friday.
