I'm one of the Salem spellers that made it to the county "Bee" in like '83, but that's where I bombed out. I must say though that a Salem education, at least for me, was top notch. It's really helped me along; and I never went to college, so Salem Schools were all I ever had. Here's to all the 70's - 80's teachers at Reilly, Southeast, Jr. High and SHS.

Drats, see my mistake I made? Now I am going to have to start proof reading each and every comment before I click...POST COMMENT! LOL
Before or after spell check or auto correct? LOL
I know, not funny. Spelling errors are the result of ones mind moving faster than the fingers. It happens to everyone and even, whiz kid spelling participants when they are writing or typing something It is the same for the Educational world.
Just like we all have lousy grammar. Simply because we don't speak it and the world won't fall apart because of it.
One of the "best " :)
