Seems funnie. Cleveland has a reputation of getting rid of good players who go on to win championships elsewhere.

I believe that is the name of the game.

Lebron carried the team for years,

Ok, so after I apparently misinterpreted your original comment, you continued on and said that I don't understand Bitcoin or alt coin, and that you're sure the SEC would love to hear my explanation of why they're not a Ponzi scheme...and now you're saying you know they aren't, and I should have known that you knew that? Doesn't add up sweetheart.

Oh for the love of God, Grant, pay attention. First, I did not say Bitcoin was a ponzi scheme. Secondly, that was a joke thrown at NS. Did you miss the LOL at the end of the sentence. NS knew exactly what it meant and apparently you didn't. Third, Bitcoin is being levied a big ponzi scheme and we all know who is pushing that crazy idea to discredit Bitcoin... the Banking and the credit card industry.

"Now for your enjoyment, go read what wall street is saying about it and what they are driving about Bitcoin. Start with this headline.

"Welcome to 21st-century Ponzi scheme: Bitcoin" Straight off the press from the New York post in the Business section.

That was why I made the joke about it with ns investing into the alleged ponzi scheme. I didn't say it was one.

Now shut up and take the beer box off your head. READ the comments, in your case read them twice before you spout off. You are getting old with your chest pounding.

Would be nice but far too much money elsewhere and is there even a chance Cleveland could win a championship?

Oh, so you mean you proved me right without me having to actually explain it to you? Thanks for that. Bitcoin in and of itself is not a Ponzi scheme. Just because people have run Ponzi scheme's around Bitcoin, doesn't mean that Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme. That's like saying gold is a Ponzi scheme because someone ran a Ponzi scheme based on gold.

See, now there you go ns, once you have all this down to a science, there is a new business idea for you. You can put on classes for Salem residents in how to invest in bitcoin and make some money. LOL

"You can ask locals here in Salem if they know what bitcoins is about and they don't know. It is actually going to hit hard once it takes hold. "

Only two people of all the humans I talked to at the golf club know if it, none of my friends have a clue, and very few others in the general public have even heard of it.

One good thing is there will only be 21 million ever minted. Can't print 'em like they do dollars. There's only one way to make more: hash faster!!

After I buy my third machine, my mini-biz will be able to add a new machine a month, just on the bitcoin I mine, no additional cash investment will be required. Until I outgrow my 100-amp service, that is :)

"Banks and credit card companies are terrified of it, they can't compete with BTC super-low transaction fees."

That has been the problem. News media will not cover any of this. It will change our banking industry and I think it will have a big impact as it grows in popularity.

Talk about shoving banks into the dinosaurs years, this will do it.

It will be interesting to see how this unfolds in the next 10 years.

Silk Road, yes. Never went there, either. Way black market, drug and gun sales. Part of the 'Dark Internet'.

Yuk.

I'd say it's not a business or hobby for the faint-of-heart :)

I agree with that. I don't think I have the patience to keep up with it everyday. The hackers are having a blast. I know there was another black market bitcoin operation, silk roads or something like that.

The thing is the news media is covering a lot of this kind of stuff. Obama and his crap is clogging the air waves. You can ask locals here in Salem if they know what bitcoins is about and they don't know. It is actually going to hit hard once it takes hold.
