Minerva downs Salem, West Branch

SALEM–The Minerva girls golf team beat Salem and West Branch in a tri-match Tuesday at Salem Hills.

The Lions finished with a team total of 228, while the Quakers shot 238 and the Warriors 261.

For the Lions, Jordan Van Meter was the runaway medalist with a 37. Baeli Waller added a 49, while Danielle Weiss shot a 65 and Sadie Blum carded a 77.

For the Quakers, Kelly Hutton shot 54, Makayla Stoffer 55, Camryn Riley 63, Sloan Rudibaugh 66 and Emily Weikart 68.

For the Warriors, Anna Lippiatt shot a 57, Sidney Milliken 61, Toria Courtney 69 and Isabella Baird 74.

Marlington 170, Salem 206

SALEM–Marlington defeated Salem 170-206 in Eastern Buckeye Conference boys golf action Tuesday.

The Quakers are now 3-4 overall and 2-4 in the EBC. Marlington is 4-1, 4-1.

Logan Zimmerman shot a 43 for the Quakers, while Lane Rhodes shot a 53 and Kaleb Day and Dylan Ulrich each shot 55.

Salem hosts Carrollton today.

Lisbon 190,

United 203

LISBON–The Lisbon golf team picked up a 190-203 victory over United Tuesday at Twin Springs.

For the Blue Devils (7-2) Austin Craig shot a 45, Blayne Brownfield 46, Josh Entrikin 50 and Jeremy Bricker 52.

For the Eagles, Shane Black shot a 48, Mikey Bardo 48, Brandt Haylen 53 and Parker Berdine 54.

Lisbon is at Toronto Thursday.

Wellsville 208,

Leetonia 222

EAST LIVERPOOL–Wellsville downed Leetonia 208-222 in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference golf action Tuesday at Cedar Hills.

For the Tigers, Shawn Osborn shot a 46, Luke Green 48, Jared Garner 50 and Justin Talbert 64.

Leetonia’s Brandon Cantwell was the medalist with a 45.

Also for the Bears, Patrick Hull shot a 54, Jayden Herhold 57 and Haleigh Brock 66.

Wellsville is now 4-5 overall and hosts East Palestine Thursday.

South Range 175, Hubbard 198

BOARDMAN–South Range dispatched Hubbard 175-198 in golf action Tuesday at Mill Creek North.

Kaiden Sykes was the medalist with a 39, while Nick Fromel shot a 44 and Patt Kennedy and Gavin Batdorff each shot 46.

Columbiana 158, Toronto 166

COLUMBIANA–The Columbiana boys golf team beat Toronto 158-166 Tuesday at Valley.

The Clippers move to 8-0 on the season.

For Columbiana, Tyler Anderson was the medalist with a 37, while Seth Ross had a 39, Sean Whitehead 41 and Riley McElwain 41.

Hunter Keenan led Toronto with a 39.

Columbiana is at United Thursday.
