COLUMBIANA–Tori Long tossed a five-inning no-hitter as the Columbiana softball team blasted Leetonia 15-1 in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference action Thursday.

Julia Rapp and Marissa Makosky each tallied four hits for the Clippers (8-5, 5-3 EOAC). Maci Linhart and Long each had three hits.

The Clippers are at Brookfield Monday.

West Branch 11, GlenOak 5

BELOIT — Grace Heath had a double, triple and three RBIs, while Peyton Alazaus had a double, home run and three RBIs as West Branch belted GlenOak 11-5 on Thursday.

West Branch is 15-2 and hosts Minerva on Tuesday.

Delaney Rito had two hits and two RBIs. Sam Morris and Destany Blake also had two hits.

BERLIN CENTER — McDonald took care of Western Reserve by a 4-1 count on Thursday in Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference action.

Elizabeth Deal had two singles for Reserve. Layla Woolf added a single and RBI.

East Palestine 11, Youngstown East 1

UNITY–The East Palestine softball team defeated Youngstown East 11-1 in five innings Thursday.

The Bulldogs improve to 8-4 overall. East falls to 4-3.

Ivy Burkett had a two-run single for the Bulldogs, while Caitlin Mohney had two hits and an RBI and Joclyn Fristik had two hits.

East Palestine hosts Western Reserve today.
