Branch wins third straight

POLAND–The West Branch volleyball team ran off its third straight win to start the season with a 25-13, 25-13, 25-17 win over Poland Monday.

Elise Wallace powered the Warriors (3-0) with 13 points and 28 assists. Bailey Campbell added 10 points and five aces. Sydney Mercer and Jessica Bock each had six kills.

West Branch won the jayvee match 25-22, 25-19. Grace Silmon had three aces.

Crestview 3, United 0

COLUMBIANA — Crestview’s volleyball team bounced United 25-20, 25-16, 25-20 on Monday.

Crestview is 1-0.

For the Rebels, Tess Neville had seven kills, six digs and 11 points. Brenna Auer had seven kills, 15 digs and two points. Amelia Montgomery had four kills, three aces, seven digs and 10 points. Sidney Rambo had six kills. Lucy Montgomery had 28 assists and nine points.

United was led by Savannah Burton with two aces, four kills and four blocks. Tori Tschappatt and Brooke Smith each had one ace and three kills. Lauren DelVichio had seven assists and Haley Dees had four assists.

The Rebel jayvees won 25-8, 25-12. Kendra Greaves had nine points for Crestview. Chloe Cooper had five points and Olivia Short had 10 digs for United.
