West Branch 3, East Liverpool 2

BELOIT–The West Branch girls tennis team edged East Liverpool 3-2 on Thursday. The Warriors are now 4-0 overall and 4-0 in the NET. The Potters fall to 3-1, 3-1.

East Liverpool’s McKenzie Harman came up with a three-hour marathon victory over Abby Stephens in the second singles match.

In the deciding second doubles match, the Warriors rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the first set.

East Liverpool hosts Claymont Saturday. West Branch is at East Palestine Monday.

HANOVERTON–United beat Salem 3-2 in girls tennis action Thursday.

United is at Lordstown Monday
