Raiders blank Central
CANTON –Isaac Allegretto accounted for all five touchdowns and the South Range defense came up with five turnovers as the Raiders pulled away from Canton Central Catholic, 33-0, Friday.
The Raiders improve to 2-1, while the Crusaders drop to 1-2.
Allegretto completed 16 of 19 passes for 169 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 50 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries.
His three touchdown passes came in the second quarter — 13 yards to Luke Crumbacher, 25 yards to Ian Toy and 4 yards to Chris Brooks as time ran out in the first half.
He added scoring runs of 5 and 6 yards in the final 6:09 of the fourth quarter.
Dylan Dominguez added 86 yards rushing on 11 attempts for the Raiders.
Canton Central will play at Louisville St. Thomas Aquinas on Thursday, while South Range travels to Poland on Friday.

MCDONALD –Crestview extended its slump by dropping a 20-14 decision to McDonald on Friday night.
The Rebels fall to 0-3, while McDonald is 1-2.
Crestview is at Newton Falls next Friday to open All-American Conference play.
The Rebels are 0-3 for the first time since 2003.
Ethan Powell powered the Rebels with 114 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

CAMPBELL — East Palestine was outgained 414 to 93 as Campbell Memorial clocked the Bulldogs 47-7 on Friday night.
East Palestine is 0-3 and has been outscored 158-7 this season.
Dominick Cathers had five rushes for 44 yards and the Bulldogs’ first touchdown of the season.
Malachi Bannarn caught six passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns for Campbell.
East Palestine is at Lisbon next Friday.
