CANTON — Canton South maintained its lead in the Eastern Buckeye Conference by edging West Branch, 3-2, Tuesday.

The Wildcats improve to 11-1 overall and 5-0 in the EBC, while the Warriors move to 9-2 and 2-2 EBC.

West Branch will host Lordstown on Monday.

THIRD SINGLES: Liz Scott (CS) def. Makayla Randlett, 6-3, 6-2.

SECOND DOUBLES: Claire Headland-Ashley Pinkerton (WB) def. Avery Stonntag-Madyson Fowler, 6-0, 6-0.

LORDSTOWN — The Salem girls tennis team won by forfeit against Lordstown on Monday. The Red Devils did not have enough players.
