COLUMBIANA — Krista Perry had 19 points, 10 rebounds and three assists as Crestview bounced Lisbon 58-45 on Thursday in girls hoops action.

Tanner Hoffer had 17 points and eight rebounds. Shianna Mathes chipped in 11 points, while Payton Huff had nine assists and three steals.

Crestview is 3-0 and hosts Liberty next Wednesday.

Lisbon got 16 points and nine rebounds from Maddie Liberati and 14 points, five steals and three assists from Izzy Perez.

HANOVERTON — Jenna Cassidy had 12 points to lead Minerva to a 48-37 win over United on Thursday.

The Lions (2-2) were up by 10 after a quarter before United closed to within three by the end of the third quarter.

Celeste Hofmeister had 10 points and eight boards for United, 2-2. Destiny Hill added nine points.

Jenna Cassidy had 12 points for Minerva.

United won the reserve game, 33-22. Taylor Cope had 17 points for the winners.

United hosts Leetonia on Monday.

NORTH JACKSON–The Western Reserve girls basketball team opened Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference play by pulling away from Jackson-Milton 59-29 on Thursday.

Dani Vuletich led the way for the Blue Devils with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Alyssa Serensky added 14 points and seven rebounds. Olivia Pater had 12 points and five assists.

Western Reserve won the jv game 38-35. Jenna Heater led the Blue Devils with 18 points.
