CLEVELAND–West Branch senior Jamyson Robb highlights a handful of area swimmers who qualified for this week’s Div. II Northeast District meet at Cleveland State University.

Robb took first place in the 200 IM (2:12.37) and 100 Breaststroke (1:05.77) at last Saturday’s Div. II sectional meet at the University of Akron. Robb is the defending state champion in the 100 Breaststroke. She will be seeded sixth in the 200 IM and second in the 100 Breaststroke when action gets underway at Robert F. Busby Natatorium at 3 p.m. Friday.

Joining Robb in Cleveland will be fellow West Branch Warrior Jordan Anderson, who qualified in the 100 Freestyle and the 100 Backstroke.

Crestview’s Rachel Klem punched her ticket to districts in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke, a while Columbiana’s Jocelyn Buchheit also qualified in the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke.

Salem’s Hannah Bowers (100 Backstroke) and Ian Ziegler (100 Butterfly) will each be headed to Cleveland this week as well. South Range will also have a pair of swimmers competing, as Maddy Bennett qualified in the 200 IM and 100 Backstroke and Lexie Shehan made it in the 100 Butterfly.
