Salem stays put

COLUMBUS — Area high school basketball teams will remain in their same divisions except for the Springfield girls.

The Tigers drop to Division IV and will be the largest school in that girls division.

The 2020-21 season divisional assignments were released by the Ohio High School Athletic Association on Wednesday.

East Liverpool is the second-smallest school in Division II girls.

Only three schools have fewer enrollment than the Heartland Christian boys and nine schools are smaller than the Heartland Christian girls.
