LISBON — Lisbon volleyball defeated Southern on Wednesday 25-19, 21-25, 25-19, 17-25, 15-12.

For the Blue Devils (3-5), Mya Emmerling had 19 points, six aces and three blocks. McKenna Dailey 21 digs, Eliza Baker 21 assists and Brooke VanGeisen and Justyce Vrabel nine points and seven kills each.

For Southern (2-7), Ashley Shroades had 14 kills and 16 points, Rylee Mellott 14 assists, Ronni Mayfield 10 assists, Hannah Reynolds four kills and Camryn Mellott six kills.

In jayvee action, Southern won 25-23, 25-23.

For Lisbon, Madison Marriner had 10 points.

For Southern, Grace Brothers had 13 points, Esther Forbes and Katie Calderon five assists and three kills each.

Lisbon will head to Wellsville on Thursday next.

Souterhn will host Stuebenville Central Catholic today for senior night.

West Branch 3,

Canton South 0

BELOIT — West Branch ran its record to 3-1 in the Eastern Buckeye Conference with a 25-14, 25-10, 25-19 over Canton South on Tuesday.

Bailey Campbell totaled 17 points and seven aces for the Warriors (8-2). Sydney Mercer collected eight points, six aces and 11 kills, Claire Brunner six kills, Hannah Rush 14 assists and Riley 12 assists.

West Branch also won the junior varsity match, 25-19, 25-22,. Skyler Greeneisen had 12 points and five aces to lead the way. Myla Lamp had four kills and Taiva Hagen eight assists.

West Branch will play at Carrollton on Thursday.

Lakeview 3,

South Range 1

CORTLAND– South Range volleyball fell to Lakeview, 22-25, 19-25, 25-22, 21-25, Tuesday

For South Range (5-6), Bri Hiner had three aces, Izzy Lamparty 13 kills and three blocks, Reagan Irons 28 digs and Sarah Kuhns and Jamie Feren 11 assists.

In jayvee action, South Range fell 17-25, 25-20, 17-25.

Wellsville 3,

East Palestine 0

EAST PALESTINE — Wellsville maintained its lead in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference with a 25-15, 2-13, 25-11 win over East Palestine on Tuesday.

The Tigers improve to 8-1 overall and 7-0 in the EOAC. They will host Lisbon on Thursday.

Leading the way for Wellsville were Emily McNicol with five aces and 18 assists, Aubri Ramsey five aces and three kills, Emma SMith 13 kills, Greta Cartwright two aces, two kills and 10 assists, Megahan Nixon four kills and one block, Alana Amatao eight kills and one block and Jenna McNicol one ace and 27 digs.

For East Palestine, Morgan Chuerco had 17 kills and Emily Berger six kills and one block.

The Bulldogs are 5-3 overall and 4-3 EOAC.

East Palestine won the junior varsity match, 25-10, 21-25, 25-23. For Wellsville, Paige Green had three aces and 13 assists and Brooke Hackney three aces and seven kills.

The Bulldogs will Youngstown East today.

Crestview 3, Campbell 0

COLUMBIANA– The Crestview volleyball team cruised past Campbell on Tuesday, winning 25-7, 25-3, 25-12.

For the Rebels (7-2), Grace Auer had 10 kills, 10 assists and six digs. Shelby Rambo four kills and two aces. Molly Emch had three kills and two aces. Lucy Montgomery 10 assiss, six kills, three aces.

In jayvee action, Crestvire also won 25-5, 25-9. Madalyn Black had six kills and Madison Davis 12 points and four aces.

The Rebels host Newton Falls on Thursday.

United 3, Columbiana 2

HANOVERTON– The United Eagles lost the first two sets but were able to rally to defeat the Clippers on Tuesday in five sets 15-25, 16-25, 25-21, 25-18, 16-14.

For the Eagles (8-2, 6-1), Haley Dees had 34 assists and eight points, Savannah Burton 10 kills and four aces, Tori Tschappatt 10 kills and eight points, Madison Boyle 30 digs and Brooke Smith 28 digs and eight kills.

For the Clippers (10-2), Tori Long had 12 kills and 17 digs. Grace Whitmer had 10 kills, 13 assists and 13 digs. Maci Linhart 30 digs, Camille Zentner three kills and Cessna Stoy had four aces, six digs and 13 assists.

In jayvee action, United won 25-22, 25-21.

For the Eagles, Maddie Cope had four points and four digs and Samantha Lippiatt four points and two aces.

For the Clippers, Delaney Dixon had two kills and two aces and Madison Burbick three kills and five assists.

Columbiana will head to Leetonia next on Thursday.
