Potters roll past Crestview
EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool’s boys and girls bowling teams bested Crestview on Monday at Walnut Lanes.
East Liverpool’s boys were 2,483-1,678 winners. For the Potters (11-3), Derek Klein had a 221 high game and a 435 series. Nathan Kelly added a 236 high game and a 403 series. For Crestview, Jamison Hoffer had 174 high game and a 323 series. Sam Campbell added a 148 high game and a 291 series.
East Liverpool’s girls were 1,886-1,295 winners. Delaney Riggle led the way with a 184 high game and a 352 series. Madyson McGaffic added a 187 high game and a 321 series. East Liverpool’s girls are 9-5.
For Crestview, Jessie Rose had a 134 high game and a 234 series. Naudia McCoy added a 110 high game and a 219.
East Liverpool hosts United on Thursday.
Southern tops Wellsville
CALCUTTA — The Southern Local bowling team captured its second win of the season Monday by downing Wellsville 1,620-963 at Tri-State Lanes.
Conner Lewis had a 272 series and Garrett Brewer a 269 series to lead the Indians, who improve to 2-6.
Maddox Bosco topped Wellsville with a 268 series. John Maylone added a 211 series.
Southern will host Heartland Christian at 4 p.m. today at Tri-State Lanes.
