Hart, Murray get titles for Quakers
NORTH JACKSON–South Range wrestling won the 2021 Jackson-Milton Leonard Truck and Trailers Invitational on Saturday.
This is the third straight title for the Raiders at the tournament.
Salem finished fourth with 133 points, Crestview finished fifth with 119 points and United finished seventh with 87 points.
South Range had six champion, including Raymond Cmil (120 pounds) with three pins, Chris Colucci (195) with three pins, Hunter Newell (106) with two pins, Jacob Starkey (160) with two pins, Clayton Kramer (126) finished with one pin and Michael Markulin (132) with one pin.
Also for the Raiders, Braxton Bergman (220) was second with two pins, Gavin Pahanish (112) was second with one pin, Naseem Maali (145) was second with one pin, Logan Cormell (170) was second with one pin, Luke Blasko (182) was fourth with one pin. Michael Lally (285) was fifth.
For Salem, Caiden Hart (170) and Sam Murray (220) were first. Cyle Burt (106) was third with three pins, Brittan Allen (126) was third with three pins, Tony Seddon (113) was third with one pin, Cooper Gottschling (195) was fourth with two pins. and Caleb Schaeffer (138) was fifth with one pin.
For Crestview, Collin Wonner (145) finished first with two pins, Braeden Stallworth (120) finished second with one pin, AJ Coppersmith (138) finished second with one pin, Ty Harrison (152) finished third with one pin, Roclen Bettura (170) finished third with two pins and Wyatt Babik (285) finished with two pins.
For United, Gavin Berger (160) finished third with two pins, Christian McCon (182) finished third. Payne Brereton (220) finished third with two pins, Dallas McCracken (285) finished fourth, Jenson Baker (145) finished fifth with two pins and Tucker Kiko (170) finished fifth.
