AMVETs gets first win
SALEM — Salem AMVETs scored an 8-7 win over Warren on Sunday in a men’s 50-plus baseball contest at Salem High School.
Craig Talbott had a double, single and was strong on the mound for the winners, 1-6. Charis Chavis turned in a good performance in relief while Greg Arcuri had three singles.
Salem will meet the Chester Old-Timers on Sunday at Firestone Park in Columbiana.
