Bulldogs go four to beat Heartland

COLUMBIANA — The East Palestine Bulldogs were victorious over Heartland Christian 36-24, 25-21, 20-25, 26-24 on Wednesday.

For the Bulldogs, Mia Lee had 16 kills, seven points and three aces. Mackenzie Parker had 11 points and eight assists. Alexus Robb had 12 points and four aces. Elle Berger had nine points and two kills. Gabby Andre had seven assists and five points.

Heartland Christian won the jayvee match 25-17, 25-20.

For East Palestine, Alyssa Dilling had 10 points.

East Palestine will host Columbiana Thursday.

Salem 3, Minerva 1

MINERVA — Salem’s volleyball team beat Minerva 18-25, 25-13, 25-20, 25-20 on Wednesday.

For the Quakers, Zoie Reid had five aces, 15 kills and a block. Makenna Rudy had eight kills. Kaylee Johnson had six kills. Sofia Cibien had 40 assists.

Salem won the jayvee match, 25-23, 10-25, 26-24.

Grace Johnson had five aces.

LAKE MILTON — Columbiana’s girls golf team beat Mineral Ridge 205-247 on Wednesday at Olde Dutch Mill.

For the Clippers, Annaka Patrick had a 49, Ellie Jackson 50, Katrina Patrick 52 and Hailey Muntean 54.

For the Rams, Aubree Brunton had a 57, Savannah Davison 58, Brooke Buffington 65 and Hayleigh Morgan 69.

SALEM — Garrettsville Garfield won the Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference Grey Division golf title on Wednesday at Salem Hills.

Ken Williams of Champion was the medalist with an 82.
