Salem girls basketball game postponed

SALEM — The Hubbard at Salem girls basketball game scheduled for Monday was postponed due to the death of the father of Salem twin senior captains Reese and Rylee Davidson-Chuck.

The game will be made up at a later date.

Salem is scheduled to play at Carrollton on Wednesday.

Rebel bowlers on a roll

KENT — The Crestview girls bowling team topped Southeast, 1697-1059, Monday at Spins Bowl.

Blasey Biser had a 168 game and 332 series for the Rebels. Lydia Campbell had a 261 series and Aubrey Unkefer a 260 series.

Minerva frosh top West Branch

MINERVA — The Minerva freshman boys basketball team downed West Branch, 48-27, Monday.

Landon Coffee led the Warriors with 10 points. Austin Hawk added seven points and Mason Cosma six.

West Branch will host Canton Central Catholic on Thursday.
