Mogadore appreciates the Salem hospitality

To the editor:

On behalf of our football team, coaches, marching band and our fans, we send our thanks to Salem athletic director Todd Huda, his staff and the fine people of Salem for your kind hospitality this past Saturday as we traveled to play in the OHSAA Regional Semi-Final football game at Salem Reilly Stadium.

Our head coach specifically pointed out that from the moment the team buses rolled in, Salem staff was there to attend to our every need. The organization of this event could not have been more on point.

Our fans had a great time visiting your local restaurants — not to mention how fortunate we were to play in a first-class stadium. Everyone we met was accommodating and friendly. Special thank you to the area residents who put up with the traffic and the bus parking on E. Pershing.

I would be amiss if I didn’t thank the person(s) responsible for the operation of the video board in the stadium. The pre-game “hype” video that was put together was top-notch and made the atmosphere for the game “electric”!

So thanks again to Mr. Huda and the administration of the Salem City Schools for your efforts in providing such a quality opportunity for our young athletes and fans–we all hope to have the opportunity to play in your fine stadium again in the future.

Athletic Director,
