LISBON -- Wednesday was the filing deadline at the Columbioana County elections board for placing issues on the ballot.
A total of 27 issues were filed by the deadline, including 25 money issues, the Salem charter and another liquor option in St. Clair Township. Following are the issues:
Columbiana: Resolution to amend residential zoning to allow for chickens and renewal of 2-mill ambulance levy.
East Liverpool: Renewal of 5-mill street levy.
East Palestine: Renewal of 1-mill park levy and 2-mill park levy.
Elkrun Township: New 2.41-mill road levy.
Fairfield Township Fire District: Renewal of 1.5-mill fire levy.
Hanover Township: Renewal of 1-mill fire levy.
Knox Township: Renewal of 1-mill fire levy, North Georgetown District; renewal of 1-mill fire levy, Homeworth District; and new 1.5 mill road levy.
Lisbon: Renewal of 3-mill cemetery levy.
Middleton Township: Renewal of 2-mill road levy.
New Waterford: Renewal of 4-mill operating levy.
Perry Township: Renewal of 1.5-mill safety forces levy.
Rogers: Renewal of 2-mill operating levy; and new 3-mill street levy.
St. Clair Township: Renewal of 2.5-mill fire levy, plus 1-mill increase; and liquor option for the Pizza Hut (beer sales, Monday through Saturday).
Salem: Creation of charter commission; and renewal of 1-mill park levy, plus 0.3-mill increase.
Salem School District: Renewal of 2-mill permanent improvement levy.
Salineville: Renewal of 3-mill police levy.
Washingtonville: New 2.5-mill operating levy.
Wellsville: 0.5 percent increase in income tax; renewal of 0.5-mill floodwall levy; and renewal of 1.4-mill fire levy.
